Changed my life for the better

For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a veterinary nurse.

However, ever since leaving high school, getting into the right course has been difficult as I did not get the grades I hoped for.

Over the next 6 years, I tried to get a vet nurse trainee-ship or any sort of job within a clinic/hospital but was consistently turned down as I was not experienced enough.

Since joining ACAAS, I am really happy to report that I finally got a job in a veterinary clinic! I truly believe that I never would have been able to put my foot in the door if I decided not to enrol in this course.

ACAAS has changed my life for the better and I want to thank the teachers and mentors for all the support I have had over the last 1.5 years. Everyone has been excellent and informative as well as understanding (especially if you require special consideration in your learning. For example: I learn via ‘hands-on’ experience more-so than reading theory due to my mild dyslexia).

I have particularly enjoyed the small class sizes, completing practicals and hearing all of the interesting life stories the teachers had to offer.

I have made such great friends and I will never forget being part of this wonderful course!
